Name of the Post: Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineer

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 01-11-2014 and age relaxation will be applicable as per norms.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor Degree in Prosthetic and Orthotics from a recognized University as approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Identification Certificate issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government, should have valid Employment card, knowledge of any of the state languages viz. Nepali, Sikkimese-Bhutia, Lepcha, or Limboo. Candidate should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim, preference will be given to Sikkim Government Stipendiary/ seat reserved for State of Sikkim.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written examination and Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to credit Rs.150/- to 0051-SPSC in the form of Bank Draft in State Bank of Sikkim.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format (download from www.spscskm.gov.in) along with attested copies of Class X and XII Mark sheet and certificate, Degree Mark Sheet/ Degree Certificate awarded by the recognized University as approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India, Valid Local Employment Card issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, Valid Certificate of Identification/ Sikkim Subject Certificate, Valid category certificate for BL/ SC/ ST/ MBC/ OBC issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, Marital Status (married/ unmarried) certificate in respect of female candidates, No Objection Certificate from the Appointing Authority/ Head of Department in case of employed candidate in regular establishment under Government of Sikkim, Bank Receipt so as to reach The Secretary, Sikkim Public Service Commission, Old West Point School complex, Near Police Headquarter, Gangtok by hand or by post on or before 15-11-2014 by 03.00 PM.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 15-11-2014 by 03.00 PM.
