IISER Kolkata Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post:
1. Librarian: 01 Post
2. Assistant Registrar: 01 Post
3. Chief Security Officer: 01 Post
4. Office Assistant (Multi Skill): 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 50 years for S.No- 1 & 3 and 40 years for 2 & 4 as on 01-02-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and a consistently good academic record for Librarian post, Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade for Assistant Registrar post. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on trade test/ skill test/ personal discussion/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- (for S.No- 1 to 3) & Rs. 200/- (for S.No- 4) through demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, IISER Kolkata payable at Kolkata/ Mohanpur. No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.apply.iiserkol.ac.in on or before 15-05-2015 and send the print out of application duly signed along with detailed bio data, recent passport size photograph, photocopies of relevant certificates & testimonials, DD and in an A4 size envelope should be superscribed as the “Application for the Post of ____________” to The Registrar, IISER Kolkata, Mohanpur Campus, Mohanpur-741246, West Bengal on or before 18-05-2015.
