JNU Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post:
1. Professor: 29 posts
2. Associate Professor: 65 posts
3. Assistant Professor: 31 posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have doctoral degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline & minimum of ten years experience in teaching at University/ College Level, and/ or research at a University/ National level institution for Professor, Masters degree with at least 55% of marks & doctoral degree in concerned or allied/ relevant discipline for Associate Professor, Master’s Degree level, in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign University, M.Phil and Ph.D. in the relevant field for Assistant Professor.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Academic Background, Research Performance and quality of publications, Assessment of Domain Knowledge and Teaching Skills & Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) + Rs.20/- for postal charges for General & OBC category, Fee can be payable on any nationalized bank in favour of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi. There is no application fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates
