1. Graduate Apprentice: 05 Posts
i. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (GME): 02 Posts
ii. Graduate in Electrical Engineering (GEE): 03 Posts
2. Technician Apprentice: 06 Posts
i. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME): 03 Posts
ii. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE): 03 Posts
3. Electrician: 05 Posts
4. Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA): 23 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-21 years I.T.I passed candidates as on 01-10-2015. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST Candidates as per GOI rules. No upper limit for Graduate and Technician Apprentices.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University for post 1, Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from Board of Technical Education of a State for post 2, Passed 10th std (S.S.C) or its equivalent under 10+2 system, and passed National Trade Certificate Examination conducted by the NCVT in respective trade for post 3, Passed 12th std (HSC) or equivalent and passed National Trade Certificate Examination in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) in I.T.I for post 4.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 20/- through crossed Postal Order in favour of Board of Trustees of Port of Mumbai payable at G.P.O. Mumbai.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format affixing passport size photograph on it, two sets of attested xerox copies by post or by hand delivery to the Training Manager, Apprentice Training Centre, Mb.P.T. Workshop, Narsu Vithoba Nakhwa Marg, Mazgaon, Mumbai-400010 on or before 11-08-2015. Superscribe the envelope as “Application for Graduate/ Technician Apprenticeship”.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess master of foreign going ship Certificate issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India, One year post qualification experience as Master/ Chief Officer of a foreign going ship for the Post Pilot and MOT I Class Motor certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958, 1 year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer on board a foreign going ship for the Post Marine Engineer.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in Interview.
