PSTET Exam Eligiblity Details:
Name of the Examination: Punjab State Teacher Eligilibility Test (PSTET)
Educational Qualification:
For Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Candidates should possess Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Candidates should possess Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination consists of Paper I & Paper II.
Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 600/- (only Paper I or II), Rs. 1200/- (for Both Paper I & II) for General/ BC/ OBC candidates, Rs. 300/- (only Paper I or II), Rs. 600/- (for Both Paper I & II) for SC/ ST/ Differently abled candidates through E-Challan by depositing fee in PSTET Exam Fee Account with Bank State Bank of Patiala/ HDFC Bank or through online by Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. No fee for Ex-Servicemen Self only candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website pstet.org.in from 07-07-2014 from 08-11-2015 to 23-11-2015 by 05:00 P.M.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should have valid email ID & password, scanned copies of photograph & signature.
2. Log on through the website pstet.org.in.
3. Click on the âNew Registrationâ & Click on âI Agree buttonâ â"> âProceed to Apply Onlineâ.
4. Read all the instructions & Fill all the details carefully in Part-I.
5. Check the details, submit the form & then note down the registration number.
6. Upload the scanned photograph, signature & pay the examination fee in Part-II.
7. After depositing the fee candidates should have to wait for 24 hours for confirmation of fee payment.
8. Now candidates should revisit the website and take printout of Confirmation page & copy of e-challan for future use.
