Age Limit: Candidates age should not be below 21 years & not more than 32 years for S.No- A, C, D and below 20 years & more than 32 years for S.No- B. Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for BC and upto 45 years for PwD candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess a Degree of a recognized University and have ability to read, write and speak Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling, i.e. for Nepali speaking candidates).

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Examination (Preliminary Examination (Objective type) and Main Examination (Both Objective and Conventional type written) and Medical Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- (Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment)) through online or offline mode. No fee for SC/ ST/ BC candidates of other states.

Online Mode: Candidates can pay through online mode by using Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking/ Gate Way.

Offline Mode: Candidates can pay through offline mode deposit fee using challan in nearest United Bank of India (UBI) dashboard.
