Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 35 years for Scientist ‘B’ & Scientist ‘C’, 40 years for Scientist ‘D’, 45 years for Scientist ‘E’, 50 years for Scientist ‘F’. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a recognized University for S.No-1-A, Bachelor Degree in Bio Technology or Master of Science in Bio Technology for S.No-1-B with relevant experience. Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, payable at New Delhi. No fee is required to be paid by applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates.
