5. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should between 18 â€" 40 years for Post No. 01 to 04 & 21 â€" 40 years for Post No. 05 as on 01-01-2017. Upper age relaxation is applicable 05 years for SC/ ST & PH, 03 years for OBC candidates category (A & B) of West Bengal for Post No. 05. Age relaxation is applicable as per State Govt rules for Post No. 01 to 04.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute approved by the West Bengal State Council for Technical Education/ State Government for Post No. 01, 02, Madhyamik Examination/ School Final from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Examination or its equivalent for Post No. 03, Passed in minimum two years certificate course in Surveying from any recognized technical institute approved by the West Bengal State Council for Technical Education / I.T.I for Post No. 04 & Graduation in Civil Engineering from U.G.C approved University and recognized by A.I.C.T.E (All India Council of Technical Education), New Delhi for Post No. 05 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Personality Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 150/- & processing charge of Rs.50/- only + Rs. 20/- towards Bank Charges for challan deposit for UR, OBC candidates and processing charge of Rs.50/- only + Rs. 20/- towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit for SC, ST & PH candidates. Fee collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India and the same to be deposited to Account No. 0088010367936 through Challan generated after submission of Online Application.
