4. Assistant Statistical Officer: 03 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be maximum 50 years for Post 1, up to 40 years for post 2 to 4 as on 22-04-2017. Age relaxation 05 years is applicable to SC/ ST/ PH category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master Degree in Science/ Humanities/ Arts with 50% marks, M.Ed with 55% marks or M.A in Education with 55% marks, B.Ed with at least 55% marks, Ph.D in Education, 10 years teaching experience for Post 1, at least Bachelor Degree in Science with Honours in Chemistry for Post 2, B.Sc (Dairying)/ B.Sc (D.T)/ B.Tech (D.T) from any recognized university/ Institution for Post 3 & Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Commerce from a recognized university for Post 4.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening/ Personality Test.

For Group A: Candidates should deposit Rs. 200/- for General Candidates & Rs. 150/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders/ Physically Handicapped Candidates to the Account No. 31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

For Group B: Candidates should deposit Rs. 150/- for General Candidates & Rs. 100/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders/ Physically Handicapped Candidates to the Account No. 31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

For Group C: Candidates should deposit Rs. 100/- for General Candidates & Rs. 50/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders/ Physically Handicapped Candidates to the Account No. 31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their duly filled in application in the prescribed format, 2 copies of recent passport size photographs, copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat on or before 22-04-2017 by 05.00 PM.
