Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 38 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Science in relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade for S.No-1 to 3, passed Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science of a recognized University for S.No-4, Doctoral degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Science/ Fisheries for S.No-5, Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture for S.No-6, Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science for S.No-7, HSLC with driving license for both heavy and light vehicle for S.No-8 with relevant experiences.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 300/- for General candidates, Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Application fee is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c No. 33019714091).

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with self attested copies of all relevant certificates, self addressed stamped (worth Rs.6/-) envelope (size 23 cm x 10 cm) & application fee of challan addressed to Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-78501 on or before 11-01-2016.
