3. Fisheries Environment: 01 post
4. Fish Processing Technology: 03 posts
5. Fish Quality Assurance and Management: 01 post
6. Fisheries Economics: 02 posts
7. Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering: 02 posts
II. Backlog Vacancies with Reservation: 02 posts

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 50 years for Professor, 45 years for Associate Professor, 38 years for remaining posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master’s degree in relevant disciplines & qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ASRB, UGC, CSIR.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Interview.

Registration Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST candidates) by crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Finance Officer, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, Nagapattinam” at any Nationalized Bank payable at Nagapattinam. The Demand Draft shoudl be dated not earlier than 01-11-2014.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format & all necessary documents, DD, must mentioned “Application for the post of Assistant Professor” to the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, Nagapattinam-611 001 on or before 01-12-2014 till 05:00 pm.
