Name of the Posts: Scouts & Guides
1. In Headquarter Office of E.C Railway Group ‘C’: 02 posts
2. In 5 Divisions of E.C.Railway Group ‘D’: 02 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for Group ‘C’, 18 to 33 years for Group ‘D’ as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent or higher education with 50% marks for Group ‘C’, Matriculation or equivalent or higher education for Group ‘D’, should have been an active member of a Scout Organisation for at-least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active in present recruitment year 2014-2015, should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District Level for both posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination, Personality Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur. SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PH, Women, Minority & BC candidates are exempted form fee payment.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or in English with one recent passport size photograph in full Scout/ Guide uniform duly signed to be pasted on the application form. Candidates should write address of HQ/ Divisions on the application form also where they desire to apply along with IPO, 2 recent passport size photographs duly signed on backside & attested copies of relevant documents in support of age, qualification, caste & experience, in a closed envelope should be superscribed with “Application against scout & Guide Quota; Employment Notice No. and Community” to be sent by ordinary post only or dropped in application box to the concerned address (Refer notification) on or before 22-12-2014 & 05-01-2015 for remote areas.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/ Prizes etc.
