Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 25 as on 01-01-2015. No relaxation in upper or lower age limit will be given.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or ITI or equivalent for G.P.- Rs. 1800, Matriculation with 50% marks or equivalent or higher education for G.P- Rs. 1900/ 2000, Intermediate in Science with Maths & Physics (If recruited in Technician Grade) for G.P- Rs. 2400, Graduation or equivalent for G.P- Rs. 2800.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance Trial & Interview by Recruitment Committee.

Examination Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order in favour of “FA & CAO, East Central Railway” & payable at Hajipur. All Female candidates SC/ ST & Minority candidates, Economically backward class candidates (means whose family income is less than Rs.50,000 per annum) are exempted form fee payment.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or in English on A-4 size paper with one recent passport size photograph should be pasted at the specific space on the application form duly signed on the top by the candidate, Two similar passport size photographs (same as affixed in the application form duly signed on the top) should be clipped along with the Application Form & All the copies of certificates in support of age, caste (applicable for Central Government services), educational qualification, sports achievements & other qualifications should be attested either by a Gazetted officer or by self and should be enclosed along with the Application. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for Group ‘C’, 18 to 33 years for Group ‘D’ as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent or higher education with 50% marks for Group ‘C’, Matriculation or equivalent or higher education for Group ‘D’, should have been an active member of a Scout Organisation for at-least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active in present recruitment year 2014-2015, should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District Level for both posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination, Personality Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur. SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PH, Women, Minority & BC candidates are exempted form fee payment.
