Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 â€" 32 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed class VIIIth Standard examination from any recognized educational institution, Must have a professional heavy vehicle license with 05 years experience.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of written test, driving test, interview.

Application Form: Candidates may obtain application forms through the website www.wbssc.gov.in or may obtain from Tathya Mitra Kendras for Rs.6/- per form.

Examination Fees/ Processing Fees:
Through Online: Candidates should pay Rs.20/- (Processing Fee) for SC/ ST candidates, Rs.220/- (Rs.200/- (Examination Fee) + Rs.20/- (Processing Fee)) for other category candidates can pay through payment gateway using Debit Cards/ Credits Cards/ Net banking of any bank. An amount of Rs. 5/- only will be charged by the concerned agency as “Service Charge” for availing Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking facility.

Through Online by Tathya Mitra Kendras: Candidates should pay Rs.40/- (Processing fees â€" Rs.20/- and Service Charge â€" Rs.20/-) for SC/ ST candidates, Rs.240/- (Examination fees â€" Rs.200/-, Processing fees â€" Rs.20/- and Service Charge â€" Rs.20/-) to the authorized staff of the Tahthy Mitra Kendra.

Through Offline: Candidates should pay Rs.20/- (Processing Fee) for SC/ ST candidates, Rs.220/- (Rs.200/- (Examination Fee) + Rs.20/- (Processing Fee)) for other category candidates deposited in any of the Post Offices having e-payment facility. The concerned post office will give a receipt against deposit of examination fess &/ or processing fee which must be pasted at the space provided on the form.

How to Apply:
Through Online: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.wbssc.gov.in on or before 19-12-2014 by 4:00 PM.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates have to scan the copies of photograph and signature.
2. Log on through the website www.wbssc.gov.in.
3. Click on the “Vacancy” â€"> Select the appropriate position applied for.
4. Read the instructions and advertisement carefully.
5. Click on the “Online Reporting” â€"> “Vacancy Reporting”.
6. Click on the “New User Registration”.
7. Fill the details carefully and upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature.
8. Check the details and submit the application form.
9. On successful submission of application an auto generated receipt with Registration Number will be generated.
10. Note down the Registration Number & take the printout copies of application form for future use.

Through Online by Tathya Mitra Kendras: Eligible candidates may submit the applications through Tathya Mitra Kendras along with all particulars and a passport size photograph, authorized staff will fill the applications and pay the fee through the online on or before 19-12-2014 by 4:00 PM.

Through Offline: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with a copy of recent passport size photograph which must be pasted on the application form on or before 19-12-2014 by 4:00 PM to the Office of Secretary cum Controller of Examinations, West Bengal Staff Selection Commission, Mayukh Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata â€" 700091.
