Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and /or research /policy papers for Post 1, Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines, Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, Ph.D Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technolog/ Applied Biological Sciences, Master’s Degree in Business Management/Administration/in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two years full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/ recognized by the AICTE/UGC, First Class Graduation and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost and works Accountant/ Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body, Ph.D or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute recognized by AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU for Post 2 with relevant experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 1000/- (Unreserved, OBC and Third Gender Category) however, they will have to pay Rs. 100/- as postal expenses through demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Assam University, Silchar payable at UCO Bank, Silchar (Branch Code 2005) or State Bank of India, Silchar (Branch Code 7061). No fee for SC, ST, PWD candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with relevant certificates with demand draft, in an envelope must be super scribed as “Post applied for & Campus name” with Advertisement no. etc., to The Registrar, Assam University, Raja Rammohan Roy Administrative Building, Recruitment Cell, Silcharâ€"788 011, Assam on or before 08-05-2017.
