Age Limit: Candidates age should be 32 years for Scientist, 37 years for Sr Scientist, 28 years for Technical Asst. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC as per GOI instructions.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D (submitted) in Physical Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Electrochemistry/ organic/ electro-organic chemistry/ ME/ M.Tech in Instrumentation/ B.Tech. in Engineering for Scientist, Ph.D in Physical Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Electrochemistry/ organic/ electro-organic chemistry/ ME/ M.Tech in Instrumentation/ B.Tech. in Engineering for Sr Scientist, First Class Diploma in Electronics and Communication/ Electronics & Inst. Engg./ Technology of 3 years full time duration/ B.Sc Physics/ Chemistry for post Technical Asst.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on examination/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- (for Scientist/ Sr Scientist)/ Rs. 100/- (for Technical Assistant) through Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of Director, CSIR-CECRI payable at Karaikudi. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees.
