CMFRI Recruitment 2016 â€" Technician, Technical Asst & RA Posts: Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Cochin has published notification for the recruitment of Technician, Technical Assistant & Research Associate vacancies under 02 different projects on temporary basis. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format within 30 days from the date of advertisement for Post No. 01 & 02 and on or before 08-01-2016 for Post No. 03. CMFRI Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 14
Name of the Posts:
1. Technician: 12 Posts
2. Technical Assistant: 01 Post
3. Research Associate: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 â€" 30 years as on closing for receipt of application for Post No. 01 & 02 and 40 years for men and 45 years for women candidates for Post No. 03. Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board for Post No. 01, Bachelors Degree in Fisheries/ Aquaculture/ Zoology/ Botany for Post No. 02 & Ph.D Degree in relevant subject with Master Degree in Fisheries Science/ Zoology/ Social Science/ Environment Science/ MFSc in Fish Business Management/ Fisheries Economics/ M.Sc in Agri Economics/ MBA with 60% marks or equivalent grade for Post No. 03.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 200/- by demand draft in favour of ICAR Unit, CMFRI, Cochin. Application fee will be exempted to SC/ ST/ Women candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format with a recent passport size photograph along with attested copies of date of birth certificate, educational qualification certificate, caste certificate, DD & an envelope should be super scribed with “Application for the post of ……………….. at …………………… Field Centre of CMFRI” within 30 days from the date of advertisement for Post No. 01 & 02 and send their bio data by e mail to cmfri.belmont@gmail.com on or before 08-01-2016.
